Latest Happenings

There has been a lot going on around here lately. This is just a small update of what has happened.


Arthur in his Denver Broncos jersey. He loves it!

 

After a bath one night. He wanted his robe on and then just wanted to play with his sister. Camilla really wasn't in the mood for it though, but we were still able to get a couple of pictures.

We came home from church one Sunday and Arthur decided to fall asleep on the kitchen floor while we made dinner. It didn't seem all that comfortable so we moved him to the couch and he decided to turn so his head was almost off the edge. Silly boy!

 

Big news! Camilla is crawling! She surprised us all with deciding she would start at six months. She picked it up so quickly. It only took about a week or two for her to go from starting to rock on all fours, to crawling a few inches forward, to actually moving easily. Within days after starting to crawl she was pulling herself up on the furniture and beginning the early stages of cruising. Lately her big thing is to crawl around on her hands and feet, instead of her knees. She is trying so hard to stand but she just isn't quite there yet.

For Valentine's Day we decorated sugar cookies with some of our friends at the church. Arthur didn't really enjoy the decorating so much, but loved the eating part of it!

Camilla playing with Nora. They are both growing so quickly and it's fun to watch them interact with each other. It's going to be sad when these two won't get to play everyday anymore.

 

Both Arthur and Camilla love music and dancing with Daddy! This is often what ends up happening when Tim is home and there is music on!

Another Sunday after church...he fell asleep typing on the iPad, one of his favorite activities.

Camilla loves being in her high chair, but only so long as she has food to eat.

Arthur has been finding his way into our bed more and more lately. As you can see it's not only him who joins us but also his pillow and blanket, and often his stuffed Mickey Mouse as well. He's a major cuddle bug and doesn't like being separated from Mommy when he wakes up in the middle of the night.

Arthur's second birthday was on March fourth. We celebrated with Mickey Mouse cupcakes and had a couple of friends come over to help us eat them. I somehow forgot to take pictures of Arthur with his friend Parker though. They are good little buddies.

Playing with the musical instruments he got from Grandma Lisa and Grandpa Lee. He had a lot of fun making as much noise as possible.

Yesterday we had to make a trip up to Spokane. When Arthur saw this carousel horse he just wanted to ride it and make horse noises. Camilla really enjoyed being on it as well. 

We then went to visit one of Tim's mission friends and his family. Their little girl is only a couple weeks younger than Arthur and it was fun to see them play together.

Then we went downtown to see Spokane Falls and came across Canada Island. Of course, I couldn't resist taking pictures on the island. They have both the Canada and USA flags flying. It made me so happy to see the Canadian flag!

Here are just a few pictures of us with the falls. The sun was almost completely down at this point so we weren't able to get very many good ones. The falls are very beautiful though and we had a lot of fun walking around to see them all.
