Easter

All of these pictures are from Easter weekend and the couple of days leading up to it. On Wednesday of that week we had a play group with some friends where we did a small egg hunt for the kids. Arthur was so confused at first and wan't sure what to do. After finding two eggs he started to get the hang of it and realized what he was supposed to do. He was quite funny to watch.

I love Camilla's face in this picture! She was pretty confused as to what was going on as well.

After the egg hunt Camilla started playing with some toys and she was waving this all over the place. It looked like she was sword fighting.

This is Arthur's Easter basket that he woke up to on Saturday morning. I made his basket out of an old baby wipes container and the stick from the balloon Arthur had gotten at Old Navy. I then decorated it with some ribbon I had and used hot glue to put it all together. For putting it all together the night before I was pretty amazed at myself. :) Lately he has been big into cars and so he received one for Easter. He was so excited about it and then he started to find the candy. Camilla also got a basket but her's was basically just some head bands and a couple of eggs. She loved it too.

Camilla loved shaking the eggs and hearing them rattle. She was thrilled with her basket.

Arthur meeting the Easter bunny. We didn't any good pictures of him with the bunny but we did get some of Arthur going to him for candy. He loved that part of it.

Camilla was fine with the bunny so long as I was holding her. She loved the feel of the fur and was completely enthralled.

After meeting the Easter bunny we went to the driving range for Tim to hit some golf balls. Camilla loved crawling around on the grass and playing with the balls that she dumped out of the basket.

Arthur was trying so hard to be like Tim and took one of the clubs to hit balls of his own. His only went a couple of inches, if they moved at all.

Tim then tried to show him how to hold the club and Arthur was so excited to have the opportunity to feel like such a big kid.

Camilla was tired after a long day of playing hard.

Camilla on Easter Sunday. She still fits in her blessing dress. Just goes to show how small my children are. She loved the sound the dress made so she was continually grabbing fistfuls and rubbing them together  It was adorable to see how happy she got from something so simple.

Another Catch Up

So it's been awhile since I've updated and there's a lot that has happened. This post is most of the random pictures from the past month.

We took the kids to Old Navy one day and Arthur wanted a balloon which they were more than happy to give him. There is also a little dog in there that talks when you push a button and that's Arthur's favorite part of going to the mall. I wanted a picture of him with his balloon and this was the best one I got. I love the look on his face! It is so Arthur!

Lately Arthur has been wanting to climb into Camilla's car seat. There have even been a few times where he has grabbed his blankets and stuffed animals before climbing in so he can cuddle down in it.

Arthur got really sick one night and was throwing up a whole bunch. I didn't really want him sleeping all the way down the hall and have him throw up again without me being aware immediately so we had him sleep with us that night. We wrapped him really tight in a blanket to keep him warm since he had already soiled all of his pajamas. Poor boy was miserable but was thrilled to get to sleep with us. He smiles so big when it happens.

There was a emergency preparedness fair in town last month and they had an ambulance, fire truck, police car, and life flight helicopter. Arthur loved the ambulance but wasn't too sure about the rest. Smokey the Bear was also there and Arthur was extremely scared at first but by the time we left he had started to wave to him and said "bye" while also blowing kisses. It was pretty funny to see his transformation.

We took the kids to the indoor play place again one afternoon and Camilla is getting more adventurous. She loves to move around and explore just so long as the bigger kids leave her alone.

During Sunday school Camilla likes to crawl around on the table and since there are only about eight people in there at a time it doesn't bother anyone. Most of them actually get quite a kick out of Camilla's antics. She's pretty funny to watch.

Camilla loves playing with all the toys lately, especially with the musical instruments. She's big into making as much noise as her brother.

Arthur decided to try on my heels one night and then added Tim's beanie to the ensemble. He thought he was hilarious.
